Super Troopers 2 has been annonced now for  a while. According to imdb.com the whole cast is going to be returning for the follow-up. Broken Lizard has scrapped the idea of a prequel and is making this film a sequel. According to an interview to promote their film The Slammin’ Salmon, they already wrote three drafts of the script but are planning to write more until the script is perfect.
