30 Days of Night, the film adaptation of Steve Niles graphic novel, was received with mixed reviews in the box office. Being a fan of the graphic novel I thought that the movie was actually really good. unfortunately the sequel 30 Days of Night: Dark Days is being released straight to DVD. Steve Niles returned to help Ben Ketai write the screenplay. The original cast will not be returning and it will instead star Rhys Coiro, Mia Kirshner, Harold Perrineau, Kiele Sanchez, Diora Baird, Katherine Isabelle, Marc Sorian and Monique Ganderton. The movie is set to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray October 5th, 2010.
