Nope you didn’t read wrong. There was and still is a Oujia board movie floating around Hollywood. Apparently when apprehending the rights to G.I. Joe and Transformers, Hasbro threw a few other gems in the pot. According to a contract from 2008 there are five other Hasbro Toy movies trying to make it on the big screen. Among them is Ouija, Candy Land, Stretch Armstrong, a new Clue and Battleship.

If you don’t already know there is a trailer up for Battleship if you really want to see it. So far the buzz for that movie has been exactly the opposite of what the studio wanted. Stretch Armstrong is also getting negative buzz and Clue has already been put on the shelf.

Universal has to pay Hasbro $5 Million bucks according to the contract for pulling off the film. Now this leaves McG and Michael Bay left searching for a new studio and so far even Paramount Pictures, the developers of Transformers, have declined. Will Ouija ever see production? Better question is Does anyone really care?
