A regular sized man who was raised by elf’s leaves the north pole to search for his parents and his true identity. This is a great comedy to watch with family and friends.

After releasing a man who was trapped in the board game Jumanji, two siblings must team up with him and another original player to survive the dangers that are facing and finish the game. This movie is great whether you’re a kid or an adult.

8.Out Cold
When the owner of Bull Mountain passes away his son sells the mountain to a big time investor who plans to change the town into a fancy ski resort. Now it’s up to Rick and his friends to reclaim thier home and keep the mountain the way they know and love. A great movie to see a pre- The Hangover Zach Galifianakis and get a good laugh while your at it.

7.The Breakfast Club
Five students representing different stereotypes are stuck in detention together and slowly learn that they arn’t as different from each other as they thought. It’s a cult classic that, despite having outdated music, slang and clothing, has a timeless message about people and their perceptions of others.

6.A Christmas Story
The story of a boy and his endless pursuit to obtain the ultimate Christmas present: A Red Ryder BB gun. This film is a classic and can be found playing non stop around Christmas. It’s the perfect movie to sit back and relax to on a snowy day.

5.Jingle All The Way
A father trying not to disappoint his son for the millionth time promises his son a Turboman for Christmas. Only problem is he forgot to get one and since it’s the hottest toy of the season it’s virtually impossible to find. With no time to spare he must fight off other parents, destroy toy displays and take on an army of Santas to get the perfect gift for his son.

4.Say Anything
An underachiever and a high school beauty queen for each other in this 80’s romantic comedy. But when her father steps in it will take more that high school romance for Lloyd to win her back. I picked this especially because if you feel like having a nice snow day in with your significant other this is better than The Notebook.

When your stuck in the house on a snow day theres nothing better to pass the time then a great collection of movies. Especially when it’s this trilogy of epic proportions.

1.Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
Kevin McCallister is at it again and this time he’s going a lot further than before. During the hurried departure from the airport he accidentally makes his way to New York City while his family travels to Miami. Luckily he has his dads credit cards and money to help fund him with shelter and food. Just as the trip begins to seem too good to be true Kevin runs into the teo people he never expected to see again, the same bandits that were sent to jail because of him.
