The newest installment to the Resident Evil franchise is set to come out in 3-D, a growing trend this season that won’t seem to fade out. The original cast is set to return with the slight additions of Spencer Locke as Chris Redfield and Shawn Roberts as Albert Wesker. As of August 2009 it was set to be released on August 27th,2010 but in December it was pushed back to January 14th,2011. Finally in January 2010 the date was set on September 10th,2010. The first 3-D trailer will be shown to a limited audience at WOnder Con 2010 on April 2nd,2010 and then the non 3-D version on April 3rd. For those not attending wonder con, the first teaser trailer will be released with A Nightmare On Elm Street on April 30th,2010.
